Piano and Voice
Lauren Willard, organist at Ardmore Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, began her college music study at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and completed a bachelor of music degree with a major in piano performance at Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. Currently a student at Salem College in Winston-Salem, she is working towards a second bachelor of music degree with a major in organ performance while receiving specialized training in injury-preventive keyboard technique. Lauren has studied piano with Larry Scully, Paul Ridgway, Lyle Indergaard, and Regina Pozzi, and her primary organ teachers have been James Pethel, John Mitchener, and Timothy Olsen. She plans to pursue graduate study in music performance and conducting following graduation from Salem. A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Lauren currently lives in Lewisville, North Carolina, with her husband and two daughters.
